Internal UI kit: from vanity installs to weekly reuse
A Seoul design-system team entered Observatory Lab with 40+ events and no shared definitions. Over eight weeks they cut the catalog to 14, introduced a “first productive import” milestone, and moved release debates into a Friday 40-minute ritual designed in class.
Three months later, deprecation of a legacy button API was timed to actual migration progress instead of hopeful changelog notes. One caveat they shared publicly: historical charts before the rename remain hard to compare — a limitation we flag in the course FAQ.
